For 2008 we need to raise close to $85,000 to cover our expenses.  This includes insurance, ramps and ramp maintenance, demo teams and special events, merchandise, the concession stand, promotion, a full time staff member to run the park, and various other expenses.

Fundraising is difficult. For the most part, people don't see the importance of investing in the lives of skateboarders. This is a generation of young people who are so often overlooked. We've seen it first hand - we grew up skateboarding. Towns talk about putting in skateparks, but unfortunately they rarely take it to the next level.
